can anyone suggest which granite bay board to buy for a new system which will be used for gaming and cd/dvd burning. i've read about the ASUS board only and would like to know if anyone has any feedback on the pro's and cons of each of the boards offered by the major manufacturers? they make the ASUS board sound great but i was wondering if there r any issues with them? lastly i'm looking to put a gig of ram on this board, any suggestions as to which ddr ram would give me the best performance?

So far the best results are coming from the Gigabyte board, I am on a tyan S2662 and it has no overclocking features.

Its rock solid and a very strong performer compared to 845PE chipset.

I am pleading for mercy for vk2amv. Don't torture him anymore.
