I am downloading the demo, never played that type of game so im kinda curious what the attraction is. Anywho, I read somewhere that fsx supports a maximum of 256 cpu cores, and i read somewhere else only 32, anyone here in the know as to what the actual number is.

Only 32 cpu cores? Unless I'm mistaken then the best processor on the market right now is 4 cores. There is a way which you can disable use of cores for various applications, I had to do this to play system shock 2 on my **** laptop.

I am assuming you are using windows XP to play, I'm not sure how to do this in vista but I would imagine it wouldn't be too different.

Launch the game, push ctrl+alt+del and find the game under the "applications tab" right click on the application and click "go to process" then right click on the process you got taken to and click "set affinity" and tick/untick how many cpu's you want running.

Hopefully that helped, lol
