At Sony's pre-E3 event last week, Insomniac showed off the multiplayer mode for its upcoming sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man, which supports an astounding 60 players in a single match.

lol, what about san andreas pc servers.. but 60 players is quite impressive I guess, consoles usually have at most 16-24.

Does someone with a console (ps3) actually host a 60-man server or do they haft to use PC based servers (like some other games on the consoles)?

Have you ever played a 60 person COD4 match? 40 is horrible enough! I think R2 will make 60 player matches actually work, without the spawn-die-spawn-die cycle that lasts 2 seconds each.
