Can anyone recommend some benchmark software for evaluating system performance? Thanks.

I always use 3D Mark 2001 SE, Sisoft Sandra and Quake 3. Sandra is great for searching for some component that isn't working. The other 2 speaks for themself. I just put together 2 computers and the first thing I do after installing all drivers, I start the tests.

Just do a search. You can find sites to download the programs. Futuremark produces several of the programs. You can download a basic version for free. The full version requires a purchase.
