Help deleting folder?

Last response: in Windows XP

I was looking at my programs folder and came across a folder called Incredifind. I tried deleting it but it will not let me. It says that the file IncfindBHO.dll: Access Denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and it is not currently in use. I tried deleting it in diagnostic mode. I can't figure out where it came from. Any help would be appreciated?

Download Adaware or SPybot Search and Destroy, get latest updates, run it.

I used the lavasoft version and it did clean out most of my computer. Except for one file in my system32 file/folder. I still can't delete that Incredifind folder. Do you know anything else that would work?

1. find the dll, find the process which is associated with it (name can be different), stop the process, delete the dll, delete the rest.

3. find the program called StartupCPL.exe for win2k, run it, uncheck anything that is "not familiar", reboot, repeat 1.

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...
