For many years I happily used a pentium3 500 system. One day I upgraded to an Athlon 1000. After I upgraded my system no longer booted. I did not know what was wrong. I looked at my processor and it had liquified and was smoking. Soon after the fire got to my carpet and eventually my entire room was burned to a crisp. I clearly blame the problem on the amd processor. I now use an intel p4 with rambus ram. I have more mhz and certified rambus memory. My system would scorch an amd in any benchmark.
i laughed so hard my girlfriend thought i had gone mad or someting!
did he really expect people to believe him????
Well, after a period of total flaming(because he was on a trolling project for christsakes) he tried to clean up his act, and he stopped flaming everyone, so the kinder hearts prevailed and he was removed from the list.
ON the web on a webforum(I think it was /. not sure) people were talking about how if you want to troll, thg was the place to do it, after that we got many new trolls in the cpu forum(most of whom we shut down promptly) intel_inside came about the same time.
It wasn't /., it was some smaller website. I posted some reply to the news post, but I couldn't figure out how to view replies, so I have no clue what happened there.

Yep, he started off real nice. And now he acts all holier-than-thou talking about AMD trolls and such, like he never did anything wrong. He's a total hypocrite.

You know the best way to stop a troll is to ignore him. It'll make them feel liek they were back in junior high school and all the bigger kids ignor him for his stupidity.
That of course doesn't work on trolls with clubs. Those hurt, especially the ones with spikes in them.
