Hi,
I have an aging PC (built in 1998) and a multifunction R80xi. I am
buying two PowerMacs and setting up a home wireless network with them
and the PC. The HP does not have Mac printer drivers for the R80. I am
trying to figure out a way to have the printer on the network so that I
can print directly from the Macs.
I found a NetGear device (Mini Print Server PS101) that plugs into a
bidirectional port and connects to a router/Ethernet switch from the
RJ-45 Ethernet port. However the system requirements state that clients
have to have a Windows OS. So I am guessing that means I can only print
from the PC. That would be less than optimal.
