New Comp Question

Hi All,
I'll be putting together my latest comp this coming weekend and was looking for some do's & don'ts setting it up with a RAID array. Raid 0 or 1? This'll be my sixth build but my first attempt with RAID. If you have a good tut you can recommend on the subject that'd be great. Here's the specs:

GigaByte GA-8PE667 Ultra 2
Intel P4 2.8 GHz
1G Corsair PC2700
(2) WD 80G HD, 7200
Audigy2 Platinum
Plextor 48/24/48 CDRW
Kenwood 72x CDR
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
LianLi PC-60 w Antec True330

I wouldn't use Windows' software RAID. Other than that, I can't help too much with ATA RAID, most of my experience comes from SCSI RAID's.

Hope this info is at least somewhat helpful.

I should've mentioned I'll be using the Promise RAID controller it comes with the board. Also, I'll be using WinXP Pro.
