Dell Vostro 220 Core 2 Quad $529...good deal?

Hello,
I am looking into buying a new desktop. I saw this deal for a dell vostro

Dell Vostro 220 Core 2 Quad 2.5GHz Desktop PC w/ 20" LCD for $529 + free shipping
This PC features an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 2.5GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 250GB 7200 rpm hard drive, DVD-ROM drive, Gigabit Ethernet, and Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit.

My Question is whether the ram is easily upgradeable if I buy from anywhere else other than Dell. Upgrading to a 3gb of DDr2 sdram 800mhz is $44. I would rather buy any upgrades for the future from any other place likes frys, newegg etc.

I am wondering if this is a good price for this system. I will be mostly using it for powerpoints, word processing, internet, movies, music listening,

7 years ago I bought a Dell Dimension from Dell & I changed the Ram on that System without any problem So I think you can

Small HD by todays standards, small amount of RAM. DVD doesn't appear to be a recorder - does it even burn CDs? Processing power is probably sufficient for what you're doing.
