I use 3 XP systems. On 2 of them, I can easily use USB memory sticks, but
on one it will not install the driver for the device. I have a UBSTOR.SYS
in the SYSTEM32 directory, but the install hardware wizard won't find it.
Any ideas what I should do?

XP should automatically find the usb driver (without rebooting) unlike win98
where a disk is inserted to place the driver on pc.
Have you tried rebooting while the usb device is connected?
Have you tried finding the usb setup/driver via Windows Explorer/Removeable
disk. Setup/driver should be in right hand pane.
Try this if not already tried.
