Splitting Video!

I am currently transferring my home videos from VHS to DVD. Is there a program out there that will allow me to seperate the video into different scenes/chapters, so I can make submenus on the DVD. When I record the VHS tape onto the computer, it writes it as 1 MPEG file. I want to create submenus so I don't have to fast forward through the whole DVD to get to the part I want.

In most dvd authoring programs, you can make chapter points any place you like. Or you can make sperate mp2 and link them together. Much more work that way. Michael
