the gigabyte 8inxp site says:

"GIGABYTE Unique AGP 2x Detector:
Sends out a warning signal light when an AGP 2x (3.3V) card is installed."

Does this mean that i cant use my hercules 3d prophet 4500 (kyro 4500) card with the ga-8inxp?

also: does the ga-8inxp have any onboard video?

I thought the Kyro 2 was 4x agp, but if it's 2x agp, you're out of luck, your motherboard won't support 3.3 volts (it lacks the universal agp port)

Instead of Rdram, why not just merge 4 Sdram channels...

I'd be concerned. Unlike what the last guy said, Hercules made at least SOME cards which were AGP4x and didn't meet the 1.5v spec for AGP4x. I've seen articles about it with their MX cards, not familiar whether the problem exist on their old Kyro cards.
