I have some questions about the external drive. I just had one die on me a little while ago, so I'm in the market for long. How long have you had it? Does it need an external power adapter, or is it powered via usb?

Alright, thanks. I'll let you know. I'd really like to have the 2.5" size, just because they're easy to transport without dragging a power adapter (almost like flash drive).
