Check for an i386 folder in WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles . Not sure if
this behavior is present on systems with an OEM install of XP, which
stores the OS in <root drive>:\i386 .
Check the date of the files in C:\i386 to see if that's where it is
stored for an OEM v. of XP.
An MS disk install of XP would put SP2's folder in
WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles .
