Yeah, they just ended the Microsoft E3 keynote with the big news. Fanboys were going CRAY-Z. It does look pretty damn good.

From what I've read, this was to do with allowing as many people as possible to enjoy the game. If that's true, does anyone think this will get a PC release too? If FF13 is anything like the quality of the first 10 games, I'd definately buy it. 12, not a chance.

If you time it for 6 months after the consoles it does make sense for maximising profits..

Great news for me. I was planning on throwing down the money for a PS3 just to play this game.

Interestingly, it ain't being released on 360 over in Japan. Very smart move on Square-Enix' part.

It doesn't matter...the PS3 already has a nonsensical, over-hyped barely-interactive CG movie called Metal gear Solid 4.

And I don't see FF13 taking off too well on the 360 - the console will probably red ring before you've finished the first 5-hour cutscene.

FFXIII was the only game I was saving for a PS3 for... now I have 10000000000 euro I don't have to spend on a console (slight exageration there... only slight)... now what to buy :D

It was bound to end at some time. Only reason why FFVII went to the PS1 in the first place is it was able to do more than the N64. So Square signed an exlusive with Siny who also invested in Square a while back.

But since the 360 can offer the same power as the PS3 for the game I am not suprised. This will also ensure no FF fan is left out.

The one thing the FF series has had since FFVII was the amazing cut scense. The graphics in them are always top notch and amazing, and my fave was always the scenes from FFVIII.

Oh and they are kinda bringing back the gunblade YAY!!!!!.

There was mention somewhere that it was coming to the PC aswell, though a few months later, after 7 it got monotonous for me.
