When are prices coming down?????

The prediction that computer parts (specially video cards) are coming down for Christmas....
Well...didn't happen
The next prediction was that prices will come down right after Christmas. IT IS NOT HAPPENNING!!!!!!!
Are computer parts online stores like this?...never give a break on prices fro the Holidays?

I'm pretty sure online vendors made out big this holiday season. They didn't need to drop prices. Others, like Apple, were more creative and didn't send out ipods to third party vendors so that they could sell them full price through Apple directly.

I was waiting for some real deals too. NewEgg would discount $3 for "special" sales or have old crap for cheap. No real sales though. Computer equipment never seems to really go on sale. Prices slowly and consistently come down over time but never seems to drop real sharply.
