WTB: Q6600

I'd like to pick up a Q6600 for a little experiment. Got the taxes back, have a little money left over. I'm not sure what a used Q is worth these days, but I'd like to spend around 125ish. It's probably not going to live a long life, so I can't justify spending more than that. I have an E6600 I could put out there if someone would like to make a little tradeage.

Yep, you can find a used Q6600 for about $100-$130ish on ebay or around here.

I thought Ebay would be a good spot to find one, but for some reason they're going for damn near the price of a new Yorkfield lately. I saw a SLACR go for 183!

Damn good processor in my opinion and they are holding their value pretty well despite their age.

Ebay prices fluctuate a lot. Check other places. I don't think 65nm Quads have spiked in prices like DDR2 RAM did. I wouldn't pay more than $140 for a Q6600.

45nm Q9400s were selling for $150ish and Q9550s were selling for $190ish at Microcenter a few months ago.
