I have decided on the ASUS P4PE as my new mobo. Just two quick questions, first, is it worth it to get the gigabit lan option for only $3 from newegg? Also, newegg listst the supported cpu speed as 1.4 ~ 2.53? I'm sure the P4PE supports hyperthreading and tehrefore the 3.06. What gives? Thanks!

Yes, the Gigabit lan option is worth a lot, it contains a genuine Intel lan chip, which means it should work great with low overhead.
