Hi all,
I have a problem... I have 3 IDE hard drives and 3 IDE CD-Rom/DVD-Rom devices i would like to connect to my computer, of course, there is no more than 2 IDE buses on my motherboard. Is there a way to connect IDE-buses through PCI slots or something? Anyone with any advice on how to connect all 6 devices?

Thanks in advance
Nik

Yes you can get an IDE controller card. Or you can get a IDE raid card. Both will do the job for you. That is a lot of devices though. Make sure you have a good power supply.

What he said, they are cheap, efficient, and easily configured. Most use only 1 IRQ instead of 2 like the onboard unit.
