I used to play Star Wars jedi academy a lot until I got my graphics card. I read on the internet that the new drivers don't support the quake 3 engine OpenGL or something like that. Both JK3 and Jedi Knight outcast use the quake 3 engine.
When I start playing JK3 it will work fine for a few seconds and then freeze up. It gives me the ATI driver mkdag or something like that has stopped working and has successfully recovered.
Someone recommended using the Omega drivers but the Omega website doesn't have the 32 bit Vista drivers for my HD 3850.
So my question is: Are there any other drivers that I can try? Or anything else that might help?
Thanks
