I have a question.
I have a Quad Xeon PIII Motherbaord and I was wondering if I could through either a bios upgrade or an a adaptor put a PIII 1.4 CPU on it?
Thank you for your time.

No. First of all, XEON CPU's use Slot 2. While there once was a Slot2 to Slot1 adapter on the market, I don't think you'd be able to find one for sale. Also, you bus speed will most likely be limited to 100MHz, which would make a PIII 1.4 run at 1050MHz.

Yes, but they won't run in Quads. They won't even run in pairs.
