I used to have Windows 98 and everything worked perfectly, but have recently
upgraded to XP.
When I use the HP DIRECTOR, I click "view & print".
HP PHOTO & IMAGING GALLERY comes up.
I highlight a photo. On the righthand menu I click "photo printing".
HP PHOTO PRINTING SOFTWARE comes up.
I can see the actual photo. Also the menu with File, Edit, Layout, etc. is
viewable.
The remainder of the entire screen (3 sections)is black. I can role the
mouse over "Get Images from File"; "Templates to Create Standard Size
Prints"; and see what I need to do so I know they are available to me.
How do I get this screen back as white please.
It used to work beautifully.

When you upgrade your operating system, you need to upgrade your hardware
drivers as well. Make sure that your hardware is using drivers that are 100%
compatible with Windows XP.

Suggestions:

-Check with HP for an XP version of this program.

-Try reinstalling the program. Some applications use different file sets
for Win9x than they do for Win2000/XP.
