I have a ATC6310V-01 (slot1)Atrend mobo it has automatic detection of FSB 66/100/133 my local shop suggested a 750 coppermine P# for this mobo saying that these things get confused and just dont work if you put a tualatin cpu with a slot adapter in them and tells me to buy aused p3750/fsb100 or a p3600 /133fsb coppermine for 80 dollars(either chip) the question is? which of these two cpu are better and also if i decide to go for more mhz will a tualatin celeron/p3 run in my mobo? i actually would prefer to get at least 1ghz or better. and also can i overclock the750(for a 100fsb my mobo has 103/105/110 overclock options and i know that the 750 has 7.5X multiplyer, will my geforce2 suffer at the 105 setting (pci clock at this setting is 37 i think)

Read the FAQ, since your board is supposed to support Coppermines (according to your dealer) you should have no trouble installing a Tualatin Celleron on the inexpensive Upgradeware adapter (again, read the FAQ).

Crashman thanks for your helpfull advice but i chose the 750 its allready in my system, since i have my case open and can check its temp by touch i feel it runs very cool so im proceeding to overclock it to900mhz using 120mhz bus with the stock slot1 type fan then ill change the fan and push it too 1000 mhz using 133 mhz bus. Thanks again

Yes, I wouldn't even mess with anything between 120 and 133 because of problems overclocking PCI cards.
