E3 2008 featured plenty of games, but several real-time strategy/tactics titles shown at the event made some lasting impressions. Tom's Games takes a look at some of these titles, including Red Alert 3 and the newest installment of the Total War series.

I'm sad that Endwar doesn't seem to be coming to PC - it looked pretty cool

i'm really looking forward to the new entry for total war, Naval combat has always been a gaping hole in the game's arsenal

Rob can you please ask you contacts at Creative Assembly or Sega if Empire Total War will take advantage of quad core processors? Thank you.

For some reason, the "NEXT PAGE: Empire: Total War and Stormrise" link on the first page actually links to this http://www.tomsgames.com/us/2008/0 [...] page2.html instead of http://www.tomsgames.com/us/2008/0 [...] page2.html

Thought I was going a bit crazy there ;)

Good article otherwise. Thanks! I am definitely looking forward to Empire: Total War. Did anyone at E3 mention when we might get our hands on the demo, or when some video footage (other than the trailer) might get released?
