Showdown LAN 2008!

I know a lot of you like gaming and even some of you attend LAN parties regularly. I thought I'd mention Showdown LAN 2008 brought to you by Maximum PC and PC Gamer magazines. This LAN party will take place in September 2008 in three cities around the US. It's a great time and an awesome community of people to game with. Below is the general description of the event.

SHOWDOWN LAN 2008, presented by PC Gamer and Maximum PC magazines, parties with 500 computer gamers that come from all over the United States and Canada, to game for three days straight. Although Showdown has contests and prize giveaways, we pride ourselves in not being just another professional tournament. It's a LAN that caters to the everyday gamer. Showdown is about playing the games you love, loads of contests, meeting friends, and most importantly, having fun.

Tickets are only $40 thru the end of July and, if you sign up with 10 friends, you get an extra ticket for free!
