Play MKV files With XboX 360?

Someone mentioned Plex just above. Though I haven't used it extensively, I dont think it will work with 360 and MKV files, I think it just tries sending what you tell it without checking playback capabilities of the target device. I have used TVersity, which has options to convert video or music on the fly to a format readable by the device. It is even able to downsample video if you have a sliw router or computer. This is all I used, untill I invested in some HDMI cables. If you have a spare HDMI output on your computer and input on your TV, just use them and watch anything your computer can play directly onto TV.
