1. Impressed by the Razer tiapan

2. is a gaming keyboard really necessary? ( FPS, L4D2, skyrim, bf3, portal, etc.)

2b. if so, how much anit-ghosting?

Really unless your an mmo player or DOTA style gamer; a gaming keyboard and mouse are not a huge advantage over others. If you still are interested though i can suggest some gaming gear for you.
