£1000 gaming laptop - which one?

Hey guys,

I have £1000 to spend on new laptop for gaming. Which way is better - configure it yourself, and buy from somewhere like PC Specialist, where they will construct one for me, or to buy an already pre-made laptop? Which would be better value for the price?

It may or may not be better depending on if money is an issue. If it's not then it depends on how confident you are in putting a computer together dedicated to gaming.

If you can do it yourself then it probably is better, but I'm not one to do so. Just look at everything you want within the gaming computer before you decide I suppose.

I'd just buy one to avoid the hassle.

Why not spend £1000 on a gaming desktop? You will get much more for your money.
