Upgrading amd cpu. What should i get? Budget £70+

I currently have an amd x4 640 3.0ghz on an asrock 970 extreme 3. With 8gb corsair vengeance and hd7850 oc edition. I also have a spare hd6850 oc edition which i might sell to get a new cpu.

My mobo socket is am3 or am3+

I was wondering if it would be worth an upgrade to get something like:

Or should i just Overclock my current cpu to 3.6ghz+ (i do have an aftermarket heatsink)

I use my pc for gaming(bf3) and photoshopping. I did have my cpu oc to 3.6ghz but upon updating my bios it reseted so i need to fiddle again

Apparently new amd cpu's are coming soon for am3+ motherboard is it worth to wait?

Do not get that fx 4100.just wait for new cpu and overclock your current cpu.

Cheers will probably do that, do you think hd7850oc edition would bottle neck on 3.0ghz while playing bf3 on ultra?
