Overall, better off saving for a new system. Socket 775 is obsolete. It's nearly impossible to find 775 motherboards anymore (Newegg only shows 5 in stock, and they're all MicroITX boards), and the CPU's are pretty much gone (Newegg has none). About the only way to build a Socket 775 system is buy parts off such sites as Ebay, and the majority will most likely be parts someone has laying around, and wants to get rid of.
