I want to build my first pc that can run battlefield 3 and crysis 3 on the highest settings Im not sure what to buy, there is a lot of info online and i dont want to waste my money without having asked the smart people out there :)

  1. You won't fit those parts in 1000£, since you need the os and monitor, also the i7-3770k is unnecessary for gaming.

  3. It will max out BF3, crysis 3 will be playable also at very high quality settings, if you can afford to spend a bit more on a 7970, get a 7970.
  4. great i will get those parts maybe a more stylish case thanks for your advice, down the line can i get a second 7970 and do crossfire, is the mobo compatible for that ?

    "if you swap to the 4-M board you could save yourself a little more $$ for the 7970, the 4-M will only be a hinderance if you're using 3+ cards. other than that, it's identical."

    but for some reason in the UK it's $1 difference... wish Australia was like that, lol.
