£500 gaming PC

Hey I am on a very limited budget and I need some feed back on this. these are the parts I have chosen:

Processor:

I think that, that is everything if there is any money I could save then please give some feedback but I cannot go over £500.
Another question is there anywhere I can get cheap OS from.

I would advise getting the 4300 it has a few new features and it will run faster. You also don't need that expsendsive of a psu

Yeah I did see the one you mentioned and it looks good. Is there anywhere else that I could shave some price off.

Not without a significant drop in performance, so it all depends on what your needs are for gaming. You could drop to 4gb ram, hardly any games use 8gb yet, but that's not gonna save much. You could also drop to the 500w corsair psu, but that's cutting it close, so I wouldn't.

ikes is right, by the way, you want a 4300 cpu.

yeah I looked into that I have decided to get a 6300 it is £10 more but has around a 15% performance boost so I am going to go for that not 4170 or 4300. I am probably going to keep the rest the same then.
