  1. I would advise getting the 4300 it has a few new features and it will run faster. You also don't need that expsendsive of a psu
  2. What would suggest instead for the psu.
  3. Something like this: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/600w-corsair-builder-series-cx-cp-9020048-uk-80-plus-bronze-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-quiet-fan-atx-psu would be better.

You want to try to stick with the best psu you can get, most corsair's, any seasonic, pc power and cooling, etc.
  4. Yeah I did see the one you mentioned and it looks good. Is there anywhere else that I could shave some price off.
  5. Not without a significant drop in performance, so it all depends on what your needs are for gaming. You could drop to 4gb ram, hardly any games use 8gb yet, but that's not gonna save much. You could also drop to the 500w corsair psu, but that's cutting it close, so I wouldn't.

ikes is right, by the way, you want a 4300 cpu.
  6. yeah I looked into that I have decided to get a 6300 it is £10 more but has around a 15% performance boost so I am going to go for that not 4170 or 4300. I am probably going to keep the rest the same then.
  7. Sounds good, you'll like the 6300 is even better!
