Hey all, This is my first time on the forums!

going to build my own PC (High Performence gaming), enjoy electronics and building so its sort of like a hobby aswell as saving £££.

Ive got a budget of around £1000 and below are the components im thinking of buying what I want to know is can any of these components be better for the money? My knowledge is fair but not extencive at all.

Processor - Intel i5 3570k - quad core - 3.4ghz
Graphics Card - Nvidia GTX 670 (Gigabyte)
Motherboard - Asus P8Z77-V LK
RAM - Kingston 1600 mhz (8GB) RAM
Case - Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus USB 2.0 ATX Case
Hard drive - wd1002faex 7200rpm - 64mb cache
PSU - Corsair TX750V2 Enthusiast Series 750W ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze PSU
SoundCard - Asus Xonar DG 5.1 PCI Sound Card
Wireless - TP Link TL-WDN4800 450Mbps Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter

Windows 8 64 bit

This Computer will be for HIGH performence gaming - I also want USB 3.0 connectivity. Any Suggestions and/or advice will be greatly appreciated!

Kind Regards,
Adam

Seems good, but you don't need the sound card, the onboard audio is a good one.
If you can add a ssd in there, the better.
Also if you're planning to overclock, get an aftermarket cooler like the hyper 212 evo, it's cheap in the uk.

If this is for HIGH performance gaming, get windows 7 64 bit, as it doesn't have compatibility issues, get a CPU cooler, and for goodness sake, don't use wireless - use an Ethernet cable. It's WAY faster, and way more reliable.
