better long term solution

AMD FX-6300 + GTX 660

or

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Ed. + 660 Ti

Which will last me longer before I have to update? Prices are equal for both. Rig is for gaming/general use only, monitor is 1900x1200.

Are these pre-built PCs? The FX 6300 is probably a better CPU solution for longevity plus a tad better for multi-tasking, plus a bit cooler running/less energy ...but the 660ti will make the biggest difference in gaming. So unless you can mix and match, I'd take the 965/660ti for gaming, the FX-6300/660 for everything else.
