I've recently purchased a 1GB stick of PC3200 DRR400 RAM. I've installed it with 3 other sticks of 512MB PC3200 DDR400 RAM (One of which Windows defines as "not usable"). When I boot, after a short period I get a BSOD with the error: "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT".

Specs:
ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe
AMD Athelon
NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT
60GB HDD
2.5GB RAM (2.0 Usable, 3x PC3200 512MB DDR400 + PC3200 1GB DDR400)
Windows 8 (32 bit)

I've been building computers for a while now, although I'm sure I'm not as advanced as your response team, but on many AMD boards with 4 DIMM slots they are color coded as to which paired DIMMS to stick into them, and generally NOT next to each other. I know this doesn't help the original user since he was using an unpaired DIMM, but your answer perplexes me. Am I wrong?
