I need to know what case, ram, power supply optical drives, and harddrives you have from your previous build, it will save you some money in your new build and I could use that money for something better.

I would prefer msy, There's 3 stores in Brendale, Budamba and Morningside.

As for your build-

For gaming pc, socket2011 is a waste of money so I went for socket 1155

Motherboard- Asus p8z77vpro- $225

CPU- Intel i7 3770k- $349

CPU cooler- for gaming, you don't need to overclock your cpu beyond 4.2-4.5ghz.
For that a coolermaster hyper 212evo($39) or a v8($54) would suffice.

Memory- 8gb/16gb kingston hyperx 2400- $75/$150(In reality, Id ont think you will ever need 16gb of ram but you can get it for your mental satisfaction but it'd be a waste of money)

Power supply- Corsair hx850v2- $221

Optical Drive- LG-BLu-ray Burner-$80(not needed if you take the optical drive from your previous build)

Storage
Samsung 840 128gb ssd- $98
Seagate 3tb sata3 hdd- $139

The case should be your choice- you might even want to use your case from your previous build. Please let me know if you want us to choose a new case.

This leaves you about 800 for a graphic card. Unless you have nvidia 3d vision in mind, amd seems to be the way to go.
So you can either get

hd7970 crossfire for $409x2=$818

or gtx670 sli $418x2=$838

The hd7970 crossfire should perform considerably better and its cheaper too. And this is coming from an nvidia fanboy

Hey yeah that all sounds awesome! as for the case im really not fussy, but would still love some advice on it just a simple black box with good ventaltion is fine by me. Do you know if they assemble i can do it myself but as i said before rather someone who knows what they are doing does it :p.

yes msy can assemble it for you but it would cost you extra $$. You can always negotiate a special deal with them after all you are buying a lot of stuff ;)

I don't usually advice on case because its a matter of personal taste but I guess exceptions could me made.
nzxt phantom full tower http://www.umart.com.au/pro/products_listnew.phtml?id=10&id2=213&bid=6&sid=67229

mid tower http://www.umart.com.au/pro/products_listnew.phtml?id=10&id2=213&bid=6&sid=84411

The new nzxt phantom 820- this is a bit pricey(around $270) but it has built in custom modding so you can change the color of the led at will. http://www.umart.com.au/pro/products_listnew.phtml?id=10&id2=213&bid=6&sid=102315
