Which Is Better?

I was looking for gaming/schoolwork laptops and i found IDEAPAD Y500 and IDEAPAD Y580. which is better?

The 580 offers a few more features than the 500. One additional USB 2.0 port, 2 mini PCIe ports, SPDIF output, a slightly better graphics card, a facial recognition feature and a metal shell for durability. The only place the Y500 has an advantage is ram - the 500 can support up to 16GB of ram, the Y580 is limited to 8GB.

Both IDEAPAD Y500 and IDEAPAD Y580 are very similar but the Y580 gives you better battery life and very good performance.
