cant connect to my new pc

I got my new gaming pc today, when i tried connecting it to my monitor i found out there is no VGA port on the GPU or at least one that fits my old VGA cable which use to connect my monitor to my old pc.

can anyone help with this one? my gpu is HD 7770 DDR5.

oh yeah and the mobo has VGA but the gpu doesnt?:/

Get a dvi to vga adapter. It will solve your problem. Plug in the adapter on to the DVI port on the card . Plug in your standard vga cable on the other end of the adapter and voila! Dont forget install drivers first.
DId you buy a pre assembled rig or did you build it yourself?
if u built it yourself then amd ussually provides the adapter in the gpu's packaging box.

it was pre assembled. so a DVI to VGA converter will solve it? and what drivers? do you mean the DV- to VGA needs drivers?

You just have to get a dvi to vga adapater and you are good to go. (leave out the drivers thing I mentioned)
Try it and inform how it goes.
