Greetings!!

I come here because I think it is the best place to ask, and I've read several threads and I have nothing clear.

My goal is to buy the best GTX680, and I want to last me a long time because I want to stream with it. And I think there are three that might be interesting.

Asus 680GTX directuII Top with 1220mhz overclock. 2GB
4GB OC 1137MHZ Gigabyte 680GTX.
680GTX Gigabyte SOC 2GB 1202MHZ.

Which should I choose? I think the Asus, but Asus is not in stock ....

Thanks!

I dont think u can buy can the top cards anymore from asus. Get the Asus gtx 680 directcu ii (non top). Thats the best gtx 680. I woudnt recommend getting a gtx 680 though.

The non top card has reference clocks. But its the best gtx 680. Cant u overclock it urself. It would be enough for today even without overclocking. And once again i woudnt recommend getting a gtx 680.

Stay away from the Gigabyte SOC, it's tiny fans make a whiny noise when running at load.

The Asus OC, should be available, but here is a recent review of the TOP version, so maybe you can find one.

I would also add the MSI GTX 680 Lightning to your list.

My current graph is, GTX 580 Lightning Xtreme 3GB. And I want to greatly improve the performance because I fell short.

The MSI 680 of the meeting in Spain not in stock, and the Asus TOP which is what I really want, is not available and I have fear cos i think they can´t be in stock again.

Might sound silly, but do you consider importing?

Not sure really. It depends where you live. Because your in Spain, the only few places where PC gaming is big is the UK, Germany, mabye in Ukraine or something. Personally I would go with UK, mainly because I live here.

Question for all: Is this a good type of GTX 680 as well? 2x EVGA® GeForce™ GTX 680 Classified 8GB Total GDDR5 in SLI.

I was going to buy this SLI option and put it in a Maingear F131 computer. I don't know too much about different brands of NVIDIA (or AMD) cards--just the basic types, such as GTX 680, AMD Radeon HD 7970s, etc.

The other options are:

EVGA GeForce GTX 680 SuperClocked 4GB Total GDDR5 in SLI
EVGA GeForce GTX 680 FTW+ 8GB Total GDDR5 in SLI w/PhysX

I was going to pick the Classified, since it's cheaper than the FTW+ (by $97), and it also has 4GB per GPU, which is a concern, since I have a 1,440p monitor, and I hear at extreme definitions it's good to have a high VRAM card.

To the OP, why not get the 4GB GTX 680? Just curious. I've heard a lot about the importance of having the highest VRAM per card, so I might consider that if I were you. I think it depends if you're gaming in 1080p or higher (the higher you go, the better it is to have more VRAM), or if you're using multiple monitors. I think for single-monitor, 1080p gaming, 2GB is sufficient. I can tell you that in SLI, the 4GB option costs me $275 more, which is a lot and a tough pill to swallow.

Apologies if this seems like I'm hijacking your thread. Just seemed like a good place to not clutter up the board and make a new thread, since I had a similar question.
