Hello I recently built a new Rig. Using a Sapphire 7970.

For the last three years with an old computer. I've used a DvI connection to a phillips tv and it's worked perfectly. It worked with the new card too.

I experimented with Dual screens using the HDMI port and the DvI port. It worked but the HDMI caused the TV(the only monitor/tv with HDMI port) to go blue and pink.

See links for difference. Which I now just assume to be a problem with the Tv that I cannot fix.

So I decided to try use the Dvi-D slot running to the TV like I've used the DvI port for so long but It won't work. Neither monitor I have will register any signal from the DvI-D port.

I am at a loss as to how I get get dual screens working.

If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it.

I'm not sure if it's related but I often have this issue connecting my tv via hdmi to my ati graphics card.

I find turning the TV on and off a few times does the trick :p

Odd solution, but it seems to work, never found the root of the issue.

Yeah if I change the channel the Blue/pink will turn back to normal then after what can be seconds or even up to thirty minutes it will go back to blue/pink again.
