How to clean this off my monitor?

I was eating an apple and I bit a chunk out of it and when i bit down on the large chunk some of the apple juice squirted out onto my monitor. I tried to wipe it off with tissue paper but it didn't, there's now a few streaks of sticky apple juice along my monitor. Very thin and about 2-3cm long, but they make the parts they covered look like all the pixels there are frozen.

Will screen-cleaner spray get this stuff off?

Use water and a microfiber cloth

Wont a screen-cleaner spray do better? I thought water can damage a screen.
