When I go to the tom'sHardware site the url I get is;

http://www.tomshardware.com/

Then when I select the forum option at the top of the page I get sent to this url.

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/

Is this supposed to be this way as I keep hearing people say that they are being redirected to the UK site , which supposedly is no more so is this now a combination site , co.uk ? I do see all the sections and do have Moderator powers so it appears to be a normal situation so it's more of a curiosity then anything else.
Maybe I just missed a post that cleared this up.

Ok I figured out my own question , since the launch I've been having some issues , like everybody else as far as I can see. So I've been trying two browsers IE10 and Chrome , come to find out it's IE10 that's giving me the co.uk url and now I'm using Chrome it's giving me the .com site in the forums. Don't know why that is but for now I won't be using IE10.
I actually didn't see any difference in the two urls except the time zone.

It's a caching issue, most likely. You'll need to manually delete your cache on the browser that's still sending you to the .co.uk site. Though really, there's absolutely no difference between the two now.

Well, that's not entirely true. There's one minor tiny difference. The news commentary is different for the UK than it is for the US. But both will be browsable from the base forum soon.

There's also the time zone difference and a post on the uk site will show that time, not that it matters. By the way I deleted the cache on IE10 several times and it made no diifference. It's something I can live with because I have both browsers and who knows it may eventually sort itself out.

I may even start to like Chrome if I could just figure out why my regular email in Chrome doesn't display any graphics and just text and code for the graphics. MY Google email in chrome looks fine if I want to switch to that for full time use. But we'll see how it all works out.
