I know this is a completley stupid thing before i start..

Stupid story but earlier i flicked a small peice of aluminum (off a canned drink or something), landing on my graphics card in my PC . I used a plastic pen to knock it off (while the pc was on, stupid i know), which caused a small spark on the card and the peice of aluminium. My screen went black for a split second but then restored and my PC is working as normal.

Should i be concerned or just carry on as usual?

Thanks

mmmm its a tough one, it is a matter of luck now. If it all seems ok i would keep a eye on it for a while and smell for any electrical burning. I cant honestly say that it will be ok all i can say is worst case the card dies after a period of time, best case it was a small short and no damage was done. Remove the card and give it a good inspecton, look for any damaged or burnt components. Inspect the tracks on the PCB for burn marks, take some good time looking. If you see any then i would replace the card. If not keep your fingers crossed.
