I am recovering from multiple drive failures and have gone a little out of my way to insure security, if it is possible.
New centon c-380 120gb ssd
New WD blue notebook internal 500gb (should be fine even though notebook drive....I think)
2 terabyte harddrive a freind had extra (used for about a month then he switched to laptop)
Ok with that out of the way

I wish for the OS to go on the ssd
Everyday stuff on the WD
2tb to hold a 1tb partion for back up of both ...if possible.

Owever I cant seem to install windows to the sd instead it installs to my 2tb
Nyone have ideas on how to do this? Or am I just crazy?

Try formatting the SSD first

Well now for laughs...bios sees all there but the actual My Computer just shows the C drive and that is the 2tb.
Is there a way to force the computer to see the others?

Okay so I found the disk management tool and formated the drive to
Ntfs
Size:default
Letter A

So how do I send the information from the c drive to the A drive?

Yes, you need to initialize the disk, open disk management in windows and click initialize, or if you don't have an OS then boot the windows install disk and when it asks you where you want to put the OS, click initialize disks
