Windows 8 VS Windows 7

Hi Everyone,

I'm about to build a new gaming system and I am wondering which operating system to use, Windows 8 or Windows 7. One of my friends loves Windows 8 and says I should use it, but one of my other friends had Windows 8 and hated it and ended up going back to Windows 7. Which should I choose?

windows 8 rules here. I have tried some old games like KOTOR I and II which are very hard to run under windows 7 even with all the tricks listed in various forums, ı run them all under windows 8 with no or little problem.

I have 7 and 8 and fps is pretty much equal.No issues running any games.
