looking for a good video card

Hi everyone , Im new here and would like to know if my system , c2d E8400 , 4gb ddr2 665mhz ,windows 7 ultimate 64bit would play every game at 1680x1050 with a 30+ framerate if i get the evga gtx 650 ti 1gb .Im interested only in turning the res up . Turning everything else off is sth I would welcome in order to get 30+ fps . I mostly play nfs most wanted 2 . Would really like to know if it candle crysis 3 as well . (I know the gtx 650 ti can handle it even at 1080 at about 30fps with many setting turned to high in a powerful system but will it keep a playable framerate with the E8400 ? )

You have a fairly dated pc, so the 650 ti would be bottlenecked. I would upgrade the whole rig before getting a medium end card.

Or you could get a less powerful gpu, such as a 7750. I doubt your psu could handle anything else.

so , which solution would be the best for me ? I mean the cheapest i series cpu which wont bottleneck cards up to gtx660/7870 level . What about the mobo ?

An i3 3220 is the cheapest I would go.

z77 mobos are the best out currently
