Aftermarket thermal on new basic build

Do you guys buy aftermarket thermal when you are building a BASIC(non gaming)PC? I know it is only like $10 but I wonder if it is worth removing the stock thermal that comes with a retail boxed CPU then applying new thermal.

retail box CPUs do come with thermal correct? I am assuming it does.

i did put new thermal after a few years on my build with the boxed cooler and that lower my cpu temp ,you could go with the maker paste first and do a repaste after a year or so of use .
