Hi,

I'm installing Windows on a new machine and every time Windows starts the install, some of my USBs stop being recognized. They all work fine in the BiOS, but my mouse stops being recognized once the install begins.

Can this be solved after the Windows install? Any ideas?

Thanks

You most likely have your mouse and keyboard plugged into USB 3.0 ports. These are not supported by the Windows installer. Move them to USB 2.0 ports (3.0 are usually blue, and 2.0 are black). Some 3.0 ports are also marked with "SS" or what looks like double lightning bolts.
