What is wrong with my CPU fan?

I have downloaded 3 different CPU temperature things. All of them say I have a max of 32C. Even overclocked at 4mhz Normal C readings are 14-23C. I don't want to go for 4.2mhz because my fan is just retarded. It acts as if the CPU is hitting 200C lol. Sounds like a jet. I really hate using apps to control it. Is there like something wrong with the Temperature reading thing that makes the fan know when to go fast and slow? I mean the cpu is not even that hot.

I have a AMD FX-8320 8 core processor. So I don't get it! I even switched fans and it's still crazy. Please help me please!

Have you looked for a "smartfan" setting in your motherboard bios? You should be able to calibrate your fan, then set the fan setting to "quiet"

That's a temperature reading problem on the FX chips...

You're not running at 14-23C, anyway, check in BIOS for correct temps.

lol I have the same problem I thing the stock fan for that processor is just stupid.... I get completely normal temps but the fan runs like a frickin Jet engine. I might just look for something in the bios

You should use AMD Overdrive and check the thermal margins. They are higher at idle and closer to 0°C at full load.
