Hello,

I've been trying for hours to overclock by changing my multiplier on my CPU but it is "stuck" at x16...I'm stuck here.

CPU: i7 3770k
Motherboard: Asus Maximus V Formula

(i'm OC'ing through the BIOS but I'm using the AI Suite to show that its stuck at X16)

Thanks!

You need change somethings n your BIOS for be able to overclock using multiplier. Set reference clock manual to 100 and change the ratio option from "Auto" to x37 with that, your will see that OC is enable now.

When I try it through the AI Suite, the overclock works. But when i make changes manually in BIOS it doesn't work at all. I've tried to increase the CPU ratio but the change does not show through.

Do you think that the power management is causing the issue? I've gone through and doubled checked everything however it still does not go about x16 multiplier.

I don't remember all the options of the BIOS but in some part of those tabs exist and options for select the multiplier from "Auto" to "Manual", I think that is on CPU configuration or something like that.
